About Kristie
Kristie’s accepting, healing and grounded presence define the atmosphere of her practice space. Her students are gently guided to explore their physical, emotional and spiritual selves through breath and movement, in classes that are welcoming and accessible to all.
Kristie shares her wisdom with nurturing care and a humorous twinkle. Her approach is rooted in the knowledge that our true practice is life itself, and her teachings embody a merger of the practical with the sacred.
Kristie’s path of inner development has been organic rather than linear; at its center is her reverent commitment to a life of listening, artistic expression, and studentship.
Kristie has had the privilege of studying yoga for 13 years and teaching for 12. She currently offers Katonah inspired Hatha classes that draw from her trainings, nature, art and regular personal practice. Her studies include the Art of Attention Training with Elena Brower, Pre-natal yoga with Janice Clairfield, Vinyasa training with Seane Corn and Ayurveda. Kristie’s hobbies include: spending time with her son Rhone, connecting with plants and trees, riding horses and making beautiful food and art to share with family and dear friends.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Welcome. This class is a hatha, Katonah inspired practice that focuses on grounding asanas, subtle refinement and breathing techniques to calm your nervous system. This practice invites you to orient with presence, kindness and connection with your innate radiance. Classes are suitable for all-levels.
